MEETINGS
General meetings for all members and visitors are held throughout the year; the December meeting is the Holiday Party. These meetings are designed to be educational programs led by a special guest speaker on a topic of interest to the driving world. Examples of past programs include Carriage Maintenance, Sugartown Carriage Museum, Coach Horns, and Acupuncture and Chiropractic. Some of these programs are held at New Bolton Center in Kennett Square, PA, in the main lecture auditorium, while others are held at locations associated with the topic to be presented. In addition, many presentations are now held online via Zoom.
The annual Holiday Dinner Party held in December is a great time to see all your driving friends and to make new ones! In addition to a wonderful meal, there is a Silent Auction with items donated by the members, a Photo Contest with a dozen categories of pictures submitted by members, a Raffle drawing for some great prizes, a Live Auction for a few prime items, and presentation of various year-end awards and other recognition. At this general meeting, we also elect the Directors and Officers for the coming year.
