"Have you ever wondered how acupuncture works? How can an adult human effectively ‘adjust’ a horse using chiropractic? This lecture will give the basic theories of acupuncture and chiropractic in equine medicine. It will also talk about when these modalities may be helpful for your horses."

A BIG THANKS to Dr. Lorello for presenting this to us - we really appreciate her time and effort to help educate our members about two very important topics!

Olivia Lorello grew up riding horses in New Jersey. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2012.

She then completed an equine internship at B.W. Furlong & Associates in New Jersey, followed by a PhD in Equine Cardiology at the University of Bern (Switzerland). She then went to private practice in Texas (Brazos Valley Equine Hospital) for a few years before joining Field Service in 2019 as an Assistant Professor. Currently she practices all aspects of equine medicine with an emphasis on Acupuncture (Chi Institute) and Chiropractic (ACES).
