Equine Dentistry Lecture:

From the Basics to the Performance Horse

Lecture on Equine Dentistry by Amanda Compton on 3/15/21 - Hosted by the Brandywine Valley Driving Club

Presented by Amanda Compton, EDT/LVT/RVT - Licensed Equine Dental and Veterinary Technician

During her presentation, Amanda discusses modern concepts in equine dental care, anatomy, and maintenance for your horse, based on her knowledge gained from equine dental professionals from around the world. Equine dentistry has evolved tremendously from when she began “floating teeth” 20 years ago. With a passion for learning and teaching, Amanda explains and shows you why your horse may be missing out on balanced dental care due to antiquated methods by explaining common malocclusions, their causes, and how to prevent them. She also goes over breed specific issues commonly encountered in her practice.
