Equine First Aid
Presentation to BVDC by Liz Arbittier VMD CVA, Staff Veterinarian of the New Bolton Equine Field Service team.
Only about a dozen BVDC members took advantage of this excellent presentation by Dr. Arbittier and I know they were not disappointed! It was well-organized, well delivered and chock full of very useful first aid info. Her slides included many graphic examples of injuries and how to evaluate and treat them while waiting for the vet to arrive. A sampling of some of the info she gave us can be downloaded below.
